Preparing for a B2B trade fair: taking care of your booth

Once you have all the information about the trade fair, such as decoration and safety regulations, you can prepare your stand. Study the location and the space allocated before ordering the furniture, floor covering, partitions, etc. Also plan decorative elements to make your stand welcoming. Don't forget to add technical services to your order: water, electricity, wifi, etc.

And, to complete your logistical preparation, remember to make the obligatory declarations, such as the machines in operation or the technician in charge of the decorations.

Communicate about your presence at Gourmet Selection

You won't make a splash if you don't communicate about your presence. Make sure you have ordered the right communication tools to promote your company: banner on the website, presence on the exhibition's promotional material before and during the exhibition and parallel invitations in paper or digital format, badge readers, the exhibition's media kit (which contains the elements to be used on your material)... Don't hesitate to place an order well in advance!

Having the right tools is not everything. Register on the official exhibition catalogue to promote your company, it will give you more visibility! Also remember to register for the competitions and conferences at the show. This is an excellent way to promote yourself! Trade fairs are also an opportunity to get your name in front of the trade press: prepare all the elements needed for press releases. If you want the trade fair to talk about you, you must already be talking about yourself at the trade fair.
