On the slopes of Douro river in a farmhouse called Coleja, near the historic and emblematic "Senhora da Ribeira", in Carrazeda de Ansiães, the Sub-Region of the Douro Superior Valley, is where Quinta Ribeiro da Vila red wine was born. GRAPE VARIETIES: Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca and Tinta Roriz. WINEMAKING: The grapes are hand-picked, carefully selected and transported in boxes of 20 kg. The harvest takes place between September 15 and September 20. VITICULTURE: Vinification by treading the grapes by foot and strict fermentation control. This wine was vinified in french oak barrels for nine months. CHEMICAL ANALYSIS: Alcohol content: 14% Reducing sugar: 1,00 (g/dm3) Total acidity: 4,9 (g/clm3) (Ác. Tart.) pH: 3,57
