Explore Litchi, Niaouli and Eucalyptus honeys produced by Compagnie du Miel in Madagascar and several times awarded . Since 2017, our team has been training farmers in beekeeping to help them leave poverty and preserve their exceptional biodiversity.
Niaouli honeyCompagnie du Miel
The Niaouli flower is world-renowned for its nutritional properties. This tree, with numerous barks and whose elegant white flowers are being sought for by the whole world perfumers, grows in the region of Anosy. Silver medal winner at Epicures 2021, it reveals a extraordinary richness and a sensory power that destabilizes. Its vegetal and woody notes are very surprising and powerful. We find notes of chocolate, nuts or even vegetables. This is epicureans' honey : admirable in cooking, it will sublimate game meat and cheese.
Lychee honeyCompagnie du Miel
Following a long journey from China through the road to India, the Lychee tree found in Madagascar a hospitable soil on which to grow. Badly hit by droughts, this imposing and melliferous tree is highly appreciated by bees which do not hesitate to make long-distance flights in order to pollinate its flowers. Its exhilarating flavours make it an excellent companion to cooking, it can also be evidenced when it is tasted separately. Very creamy with a golden color, let yourself be amazed by its perfumed floral touches which recall the lychee fruit but also the softness of a rose.

Amidst the luxuriant forests of Madagascar, one tree stands out : the Eucalyptus Robusta. Its resilience to bad weather combined with the rapidity of its sprouting makes it an inescapable element of the Malagasy flora.
