Le Clos de Laure is a family-run company that Marie-Laure, Jean-Luc and their son Jérôme are leading with passion.
“ We are food enthusiasts, we love to cook with fresh fruits and vegetables we find in our region: fig, apricots, peaches from Provence, roses from Grasse, citrus fruits from the French Riviera, courgettes from Nice, aubergines and bell peppers produced in a local farm...
Everything is handmade. Our fruits preserves are cooked in copper pans and stirred by hand with maximum 5 kg of fruits to preserve all their natural flavours and colours.
Our marmalades, vegetable or olive spreads, syrops and other recipes are 100 % natural.
We like to reproduce old recipes from our local traditions such as tapenades (an olive based products) or La Bagnetta, a sundried tomatoes cream with basil and chili pepper that fishermen in Nice used to cook in the old times.
To acknowledge 15 years of excellence and passion, we received in 2016 the title of Maîtres Artisans, and in 2017 we have been honored to be selected as Artisans Producteurs de Qualité by the Collège Culinaire de France. "
